There are weddings that touch the heart, that are remembered very strongly, there are some from which you just don’t want to leave, and there are those where the emotions during editing are just as strong as during the photography – Zosia and Lulu’s wedding was definitely one of those. A Polish-Brazilian wedding in the garden of Korzkiew Castle, full of touching speeches by close family and friends, followed by wild partying – sounds like a recipe for a perfect wedding, right? But there was more to it than that, it was an invitation to their world, full of meanings and symbols. Imagine a ceremony where your friends sing “Lean on Me” by Bill Withers for you and read the most beautiful quotes about love, and the first dance is to the tune of the song from Toy Story, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” Imagine being able to present a personalized vow to your loved one (finished just moments before the ceremony, amid toys scattered around by their little son), all of this happening under the open sky to the accompaniment of a string quartet. Sounds good? Then take a look at the photos from this special moment in Zosia and Lucjan’s life. A big thank you for the beautifully prepared humanist ceremony to slub-humanistyczny.pl
“These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love for you, that are holding yours on your wedding day as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow and forever… These are the hands that will help you to hold your family as one. And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled and aged will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.”
