most interesting wedding photos
We’ve only now found the time to sum up our photographic 2019. The 2020 wedding season hasn’t started yet; we want to believe it’s just delayed, running a bit behind, but it will happen. When the whole world “fell ill” with a pandemic, and when our work didn’t start “on time,” as it has for the past 10 years, creating the 2019 portfolio turned out to be a completely different challenge than before. We looked at weddings differently, with a deeper sentiment, longing that almost verged on nostalgia. We felt how much we missed those MOMENTS, and we are fully convinced that it’s precisely from those unique moments, flashes, and reflections that weddings are made. Their essence is encapsulated in the elements of nature, tension, emotions, madness, and beauty. We always keep this in mind, but it’s the distance that allows us to see it clearly, almost neon-like. Weddings, for us, are a journey between subtleties, emotions, haste, and frenzy, along with a huge dose of humor.
It’s a bit like when you fall in love with someone; at first, you love them for the surface layer, for what’s beautiful, intriguing, captivating. You focus on the frosting, the tasty parts. But when you truly love someone, you shower every piece of them with tenderness and care, you look deeper, and you see more. You even see things that you don’t particularly like, things that amaze you and leave you with raised eyebrows, saying, “Seriously?” And you take it all in. If suddenly that object of affection were to disappear, you’d long for every element, even the one that evokes bewilderment or disbelief.
We have 135 photos for you, reflecting our deep and profound love for what weddings are, for what they bring, and for their dimension.
Now, as we yearn for a return to our “route,” we show you, with great sentiment, what emotionally and artistically moved us the most in 2019.
Thank you to all the unique individuals who made these photos and emotions come alive within us.
Let’s take a THROWBACK journey to 2019.
