Unceasingly Seeking Beauty, in People, Situations, Life
Thank you for visiting us! It’s us: Kasia and Kuba, photographers, friends, spouses, creating Malachite Meadow since 2010. We live in Krakow, but you can find us everywhere, as we love to travel and find it hard to stay in one place. We’re sensitive to people, light, and the world, but we approach life with a healthy dose of humor. From the beginning of our journey as wedding photographers, we knew we wanted to preserve those moments when people are full of emotions, authentic, and happy. It’s an extraordinary privilege to be by the side of couples in love for so many years, and we never tire of it. If you’d like to get to know us a little better, grab a cup of coffee and keep scrolling.
We are Malachite Meadow. We photograph the most beautiful and elegant weddings in Poland and Europe.
13 Years of Experience, a Passion Turned into a Profession
In our work, we mainly focus on documentary and portrait photography, eagerly weaving in elements of fashion, enchanting with color and light. We are trainers in our own project “Malachito. Work Life Balance – training for photographers”, speakers at many industry conferences including the international “Boring Workshop” and the local “Looks Like Film Krakow,” as well as podcasts for wedding photographers. We collaborate with the best wedding agencies in Poland.
MALACHITE MEADOW IS PHOTOGRAPHY, BUT ALSO:
It all started with our love for photography. Wedding photography was the first to appear, and we’ve been thriving in it for over a dozen years, but other branches that grew from it have captivated us just as much. We fell in love with storytelling through photos, and you’ll find it on our website under the “Stories” tab and in real-time on Instagram Stories. For the past 5 years, we’ve been running our own Wedding Photography Workshops, and we’ve trained over 400 people, gradually strengthening a new generation of Wedding Photographers in Poland. Our greatest passion in life is traveling, discovering new cultures and places; from every journey, we bring back precious memories in the form of hundreds of photographs. We’re eager to share what we see with our followers. We always have the feeling that we want to faithfully show what we see and experience, so that someone traveling virtually with us feels inspired and taken on a colorful journey through the lenses of our cameras. Traveling teaches us, sensitizes us, slightly changes us for the better, and is an endless source of inspiration and tremendous motivation.
We appear in 4 roles:
01. Wedding Photographers
02. Storytellers
03. Educators
04. Travellers
WE’RE PROUD OF THIS
Canon Europe Ambassadors #1
In October 2023, we became official ambassadors for the world’s largest photographic brand – Canon. It is a tremendous honor for us, perhaps the greatest recognition of our 13 years of work and the prospect of many new opportunities to create creative projects.
We are particularly thrilled because this is the first time that Polish Wedding Photographers have been included in this prestigious group. It is a wonderful feeling and a beautiful acknowledgment for our photography field.
Passionate Professionals #2
It fills us with pride that for over a dozen years, we’ve found fulfillment as wedding photographers, approaching each new wedding story with utmost care and an individual approach. We photograph all over Poland and beyond its borders, regularly working at weddings in Italy, Sweden, and Norway. Our work is based on relationships, and the most important thing is to gain the trust of our couples. Once we achieve that, we can photograph freely, meet their expectations, and create the most beautiful visual version of their Wedding Day. You could say we’re still “not full” when it comes to weddings; we’re constantly craving more, always curious about what’s ahead.
Photography Workshops #3
Since 2018, we’ve been running our own Wedding Photography Workshops, training over 400 people and conducting 33 editions in various parts of Poland. As educators, our goal is to inspire passion and curiosity about the world, promoting the profession of a photographer as prestigious, allowing for self-expression from both artistic and technical perspectives. We believe that through engaging storytelling, a good understanding of photographic equipment and its applications, and skillful interaction with people, the profession of a wedding photographer can be a source of continuous development and rewarding work.
We’ve Seen a Piece of the World #4
With a camera in hand and the support of Canon Poland, we’ve traveled to the farthest and most beautiful corners of the world. Curiosity about people, different cultures, and the beauty of nature pushes us to ever farther journeys, from which we bring back valuable mementos in the form of hundreds of photos. We’re eager to share what we see with those following our profile. We’re always accompanied by the feeling that we want to faithfully show what we see and experience, so that someone traveling virtually with us feels inspired and taken on a colorful journey through the lenses of our cameras. Traveling teaches us, sensitizes us, slightly changes us for the better, and is an endless source of inspiration and tremendous motivation.
I’m Kasia
I’m a humanist by education and experience, a psychotherapist, and I don’t hide the fact that I feel most comfortable working with people. I’m a self-taught photographer, and I honed my skills by working on photographic projects and social documentaries for the local community. The combination of incredibly high empathy and a keen aesthetic sense has resulted in my love for what I do. I enjoy talking about it a lot, and I’m incredibly fortunate that many people want to listen. From a young age, I loved observing people, wondering where they were going, why they were going there, who they loved, what they were feeling at that moment, what they carried with them. To this day, I observe and value the invitation to enter someone’s world, even if only for a moment. For me, the essence of photography is the human being and their relationships with loved ones. I remember the play of light and composition, but without people, photographs are incomplete for me. This fascination with the inner world led me to become a psychotherapist – that’s my second great passion – the world of human emotions. In one word, I like people. I also like to eat and travel. And I constantly have a feeling that I do a bit too much of the former and far too little of the latter. Sometimes my second name is Nostalgia, but I approach most things with a large dose of humor. I’m hopelessly in love with the USA.
I’m Kuba
I have a background in photography and philosophy. I completed my studies at Krakowskie Szkoły Artystyczne, specializing in Creative Photography. My photographic diploma titled “On Mindfulness” was recognized by international curators, and a reward and great pleasure was presenting my photographic essay at international workshops at the House of Photography in Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia. I’ll admit, I’m a gadget enthusiast and a huge fan of new technologies; I’m always testing new equipment. I worked as a photojournalist, documenting current events for “PolskaPress,” which provided me with a wealth of experience and inspiration. Since 2010, I’ve been fully immersed in the wedding industry. Photography comes naturally to me but is also extraordinary. I studied photography, worked in the press, photographed for major companies. Now, I mainly photograph people, telling your stories for you. I’m inquisitive. I’ll be observing you, standing on the side, and honestly showing what I saw. I’m not a director; I won’t tell you how to be. But I have a lot of energy, which I’m happy to share with you. I always give 100% in my work, and I can’t sit still in one place. Sometimes strong coffee helps, and I really like it. I enjoy being in constant motion, boredom bores me.
